The Trolley will be running again for the 2009 summer from July 3rd, 2009 to September 7th, 2009 - 4Pm to 11PM - There will be large Trolley Signs located at the Acme lot, Dealy Field, the Marina area, JFK Blvd. and the Promenade, 48th Street lot and Nickelby's in Townsend's Inlet. There will be Trolley Stop Signs along Landis Ave (Oceanside only) at 94th, 91st 87th, 83rd, 76th, 64th, 60th, 55th and 50th Streets. The Trolley will begin operating 4pm to 11pm starting July 3rd and running every day thru Labor Day. Tentatively a second trolley is being considered for the following dates: July 4th, July 18th, July 25th, August 1st, August 8th and September 5th.
The Trolley's route will be:
Northbound (94th & Landis Ave) - Turn RIGHT onto JFK Blvd, turn RIGHT back onto Landis Ave, turn LEFT onto 31st Street, turn RIGHT onto Central Ave, turn RIGHT onto 29th Street.
Southbound (29th & Landis Ave) - 29th Street along Landis Ave turn RIGHT onto JFK Blvd. going under the bridge to 42nd Place turn RIGHT onto Park Rd. to 48th Street lot then turning around at the 48th Street Lot North on Park Rd. turn RIGHT onto JFK Blvd. turn RIGHT onto Landis Ave southbound to 94th Street and then returning north. Last pickup is 10:30pm/Southbound.
Again this year the driver will have a cell phone for contact (609-846-4063). Fares will be $1.00 each way. Day pass: $3.00, all ages. Drive does not make change.
